Background: Since Jan 2004 I have been working in the Learning Technology and Innovation Cell for Canadian Forces Support Training Group in Borden Ontario. First, as a civilian contractor assisting with Distributed Learning (DL) Design and Development, then in 2004 left for 6 months to enter into the Regular Forces with the Canadian Military to return as a Training Development Officer, to become the lead instructor for two DL courses. The two courses include: the Distributed Learning Instructor course, a train the trainer online course for CF Online Instructors, and the e-Learning Design Course, a online course for our SME's and Standards Representatives to convert F2F instruction into one of seven different DL technologies. As of July 2007, I will be moving into an R&D position for DL and determining future technological interventions to enhance CF performance in the battlefield, at sea, in air, and at various CF operational/training bases.
